Tried one of these today and compared it with an eSight for. this device may have less bells and whistles but the picture quality was better. I could actually see the screen in a simple and super easy to use.
The little bit of bulky, and though the batteries aren't removable, I feel like it is a better device altogether. The eSight though is fancy doesn't seem to really be that practical: the screens are too small, and despite all the things that I can do and connect to, just seems like a play thing that's overpriced or something that actually is supposed to work for low vision persons. So anyone looking at videos for things like this I'd recommend this device first and foremost above the others.
